Tivoli are thrilled to announce the Grammy Award-winning American jazz singer Gregory Porter at The Tivoli Concert Hall.

Famous for his powerful and warm baritone voice, Gregory Porter invites his audience on a soulful journey through the best jazz, soul and gospel has to offer. A childhood spent singing in local church choirs can still be heard in his songs and performances today, as can the years spent relentlessly working towards the big breakthrough in the jazz clubs of New York City.

Since releasing his Grammy-nominated debut album Water in 2010, Gregory Porter has been compared to such legends as Donnie Hathaway, Bill Withers and Nat King Cole, with Gregory Porter celebrating the influence of the latter on 2017’s critically acclaimed Nat King Cole & Me.

Despite the comparisons to some of jazz music’s biggest voices, Gregory Porter is a powerful artist in his own right, a singer to whom musical fragility and grandeur go hand in hand, in his songs as well as in his performances.
