Rarely in life is something almost too good to be true, and this concert is just such a moment: an entire evening with the phenomenal violinist Augustin Hadelich alone in the spotlight at Tivoli Concert Hall—just him, his Guarneri del Gesù violin, and the music closest to his heart. It can hardly get any better!

Hadelich is perhaps the epitome of a complete musician. On stage, he radiates generosity in every sense, captivating audiences year-round as he tours the world’s greatest concert halls. With his phenomenal technique, insightful and compelling interpretations, and engaging personality, Hadelich elevates every performance. His mastery knows no bounds—he breathes life and meaning into every note, every melody, and the entirety of the musical narrative.

In this concert, Hadelich showcases the remarkable breadth of his musical talent. He performs works by Bach, demonstrating his impeccable intonation, natural sense of form, and rhythmic fluidity. He also embraces swinging American compositions, a genre he has enthusiastically adopted in recent years, delivering them with the effortless groove of a seasoned jazz musician. Known for his generosity with encores, Hadelich often leaves audiences spellbound as he unleashes his sublime technique in a dazzling, playful finale.

Hadelich regularly performs with prestigious ensembles such as the Berlin Philharmonic, the Concertgebouworkest, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Vienna Philharmonic. Yet, one of his earliest international appearances took place on the Open-Air Stage in Tivoli Gardens while he was still a student at the Juilliard School in New York. Since then, he has held a special affection for Copenhagen and its historic gardens.

Join us for an intimate concert and experience the artistry of a truly extraordinary musician—a rare combination of virtuosity and humanity.
