Classic revue meets comedy anno 2025!
Look forward to a mad, marvellous, and hilariously revue as Linda P, Kurt Ravn, Søs Egelind, and Thomas Warberg welcome you to the Tivoli revue 2025.
Please note that the show will be performed in Danish, with no English translation available.
LINDA P SAYS ABOUT THE NEW TASK:
”It is with great respect for the revue genre that I will lead The Tivoli Revue 2025. I have always loved comedy, from stand-up to revue, which all fall under the comedy genre. It's a huge gift for me to become the creative director of The Tivoli Revue, a role that is an honor to continue. The greatest Danish comedians have performed in this revue, and The Glasshall Theater in Tivoli is one of the most iconic stages in Denmark. We will create new and exciting comedy that the audience hasn’t seen before, but we will also pay tribute to some of the classic revue elements. Above all, we want to provide the audience with a fun evening.”
REVUE-TRADITION
Tivoli Summer Revue for 140 years
The first time Tivoli was able to present a revue was way back in 1884 under the name Sommerrevyen, when Vilhelm Petersen launched a revue in The Garden with great success.
Since then, Tivoli has staged many successful performances in the Glassalen, and names such as Carl Alstrup, Dirch Passer, Jørgen Ryg, Claus Ryskjær, Ulf Pilgaard, Lisbet Dahl, Trine Dyrholm, Preben Kristensen and Bodil Jørgensen and other great actors have left their humorous fingerprints on the revues.
In 2014 there was a premiere of Tam Tam in Glassalen, which was the title of the summer revue that played for three years.
In 2023, the revue returned to Glassalen with the seasoned revue director Lisbet Dahl and the talented bandmaster James Price and with a star team consisting of Linda P, Andreas Bo, Carsten Svendsen and Nicolai Jørgensen, who breathed new life into the revue. In 2024 it was once again Lisbet Dahl and James Price who were behind the Tivoli Revue, this time in good company with Thomas Eje, Rikke Buch Bendtsen, Rikke Bilde and Mikkel Becker Hilgart as well as Lone Rødbroe who replaced Lisbet Dahl due to illness.
Now the entertainment traditions in The Glass Hall Theatre are once again being built on when Linda P, Søs Egelind, Kurt Ravn and Thomas Warberg welcome the Tivoli Revue 2025.
