Experience ISTID at the Orangery

ISTID is transforming the ice cream experience with their innovative method: by freezing their ice cream using liquid nitrogen, they achieve an ultra-smooth texture and a remarkably fresh flavour.

To mark Norway’s Constitution Day, ISTID has developed two special ice creams – each with a distinct Norwegian touch. Join them at the Orangery, where they’ll demonstrate their unique freezing process with liquid nitrogen and share the stories behind their creations. Naturally, there will also be a chance to sample the ice cream – though tastings are limited in quantity.

For Anniken Sand, who hails from Norway and is one of ISTID’s two co-CEOs, 17 May holds special significance:

“As a child, 17 May was the one day of the year when we were allowed to eat as much ice cream as we liked – a tradition I’ve happily passed on to my own children, even though we now live in Copenhagen. That’s why creating these Norwegian-inspired ice creams for Tivoli’s celebration of Norway’s Constitution Day has been such a meaningful experience. Developing flavours that transport me back to childhood has been a joy in itself – and I hope they spark the same happiness for everyone who tastes them.”
